How to improve your Knowledge...

"There is nothing so practical as a good theory." - Kurt Lewin

Having the right attitude and mindset are only the beginning. In today's ever changing landscape, how you grasp and understand your environment and the world in general, depends on your awareness and attitude. There are a number of ways to improve your knowledge, but here are a few:

  1. Practice self-reflection & mindfulness. If you have never done this, it may be difficult to stop. For many, being self-reflective and mindful are counter productive, but if done properly with guidance they can set you on the right path;

  2. Start writing in a journal. This is the next step in self-reflection, to write what you are thinking. The process has been used by many great thinkers;

  3. Be committed to reading. If you aren't committed to reading, you will not gain the knowledge that is necessary in today's world;

  4. Discover your personal character strengths. This is a game-changer, and can help you discover what you may already know, what are your strengths and weaknesses. To do this you must click on the following link and take a survey. It can be taken in either English or your native language. Once completed you will have a ranking of your personal character strengths: (http://PraxialInterlanguage.pro.viasurvey.org);

  5. Develop your own Personal Learning Network (PLN). You many not know where to find the information you need, but most likely you can find this information online. Having your own PLN will increase your opportunities of gaining the knowledge you need.

  6. Develop your own Community of Practice;
